Your phone as a window into your new home
Trezi Lens turns your phone into a VR viewer, so you can walk through a new home on it. During my internship at Trezi, I designed a scroll animation for its website that explains this without words: a phone glides in, switches on to reveal the house, moves through the rooms and glides out. Trezi's team approved it, asking only for copy, but the website update was shelved, so it stayed a prototype.

The brief
Trezi was redesigning its website and needed a way to show Trezi Lens: a product that turns your phone into a VR viewer, so you can walk through a new home on it.
What we found
The product is unusual — your phone is the lens — and that is easier to show than to explain. So the animation had to carry the message on its own, before anyone read a line.
The idea
Let the phone tell the story as you scroll. It glides in from the right and switches on, and its screen becomes a window into the house. As you keep scrolling, it moves through the rooms, then glides out to the left.
How it came together
Four beats. Enter, switch on, walk through, exit, each tied to the scroll so the visitor sets the pace.

Motion. Timed and finished in After Effects.
Review. Trezi's art and website team reviewed it. Their only change: add text so it could go into production.
What shipped
A scroll animation prototype for the Trezi Lens section of Trezi's website.
Outcome
Approved by Trezi's art and website team, with one request: add copy for production.
Not built yet: the team didn't have the bandwidth to update the website, so it stayed a prototype.
